Plant description

Erigeron karvinskianus 'Spindrift' is a decorative, vigorous spreading perennial grouncover with pretty daisy flowers. It is a really easy care garden favourite, and is rarely troubled by pests or diseases. It grows from rhizomatous roots, and forms a neat dome of foliage with generous displays of flowers for long periods. The flowers open white and age to pink and red, giving a delightful multicoloured effect.

'Spindrift' is a dwarf form of the popular seaside daisy. It is good for rockeries and cottage gardens, for container growing and as a border plant. It is salt tolerant, so is good for seaside and poolside plantings. This is a naturally neat plant that needs no pruning. An application of slow release fertiliser in spring will be beneficial. It is drought tolerant once established.
