Featured home - Killcare, NSW
Killcare is a quiet beach side suburb 2 hours north of Sydney on Australia's East coast.
The existing residence was built in the 1960/70's as a holiday home and was a typical example of the elevated budget weekenders that were built up and down the coast at that time. The original ground floor plan comprised a brick base containing an entry and laundry with open spaces between brick "book ends". Over time these open spaces had been filled in to provide a garage and rumpus room.
