Plant description

Acacia cognata 'Limelight' makes a stunning foliage plant all year round with its graceful weeping foliage.

Small ball-shaped flowers are a secondary pleasure when they appear in spring.

The plant will tolerate dry periods but will benefit from from some watering. For plants in tubs use a low phosphorous potting mix and apply a slow release native fertilizer once a year.

Acacia cognata 'Limelight' makes a very good garden border, rockery feature or bank cover and also makes an excellent tub plant.

When established Acacia cognata dwarf Mini 'Limelight' needs little or no maintenance but responds well to tip pruning.

Prone to root rot in humid climates, this plant is best grown in the southern states of Australia.
