Plant description

Begonia 'Santa Cruz Sunset' is a perennial plant with pendulous foliage and bright red flowers from spring through summer and on to autumn. The flowers are long lasting and the plant forms a well shaped plant with a mounding and drooping habit.  A great plant for containers and hanging baskets, as well as for the garden, and can take heat. Grow in full sun to part shade and needs well drained soil. Frost tender. Feed with slow release fertiliser in spring.
