Callistemon viminalis 'Macarthur' is a compact shrub with brilliant red bottlebrush flowers. It has fresh green foliage, and naturally grows into a tidy and dense shape. It also responds well to pruning, which is best done after flowering. Birds and butterflies love the honey rich flowers. 'Macarthur' is resistant to Myrtle rust. It grows well on a most soils, from sandy to clay, and in sun to part shade. A great plant for hedging, screens and as a specimen plant.
