Plant description

Callistemon viminalis 'Red Alert' is a hardy shrub with vivid red foliage, and is a great native alternative to Photinia. The brightest growth is in spring and autumn, with lighter red growth through the rest of the year. It is naturally dense, and pruning will encourage an even tidier habit. It is a hardy and easy care plant that grows on a wide range of soils, and in sun or partial shade. Copes with drought and frost.
