Plant description

Callistemon 'Happy Valley' is a large upright shrub to around 4 metres, with unusual and rather stunning bicoloured flower heads, with pink anthers and red stamens. A good feature or screen plant, and entices birds to visit the garden. Callistemons flower on new growth, so pruning will encourage flowering, and help to keep a dense plant habit. Grows on a wide range of soils, will tolerate wet soil as well as dry, and does well in sun or part shade.

Callistemon 'Happy Valley' comes from Stanthorpe in Queensland.
