Plant description

Carex brunnea 'Variegata', variegated Japanese sedge, is an evergreen perennial grass-like plant with a clumping, tufted growth habit. It is a very hardy, easy care plant. It grows to around 60cms high and 50 cms wide. It has narrow arching leaves that are green, finely striped with silver. It likes a full sun to part shade position, and well drained soil. Good for massed drifts, narrow border plantings and container growing. Withstands salt spray.
