centaurea dusty miller silver fountain 2

Centaurea 'Silver Fountain' is a wonderfully coloured foliage plant with pale silver-blue leaves and mauve flowers in spring and summer. A great low maintenance plant that is great for year round foliage colour, hardy and reliable grower. Suit most soil types as long as they are well drained. Likes a full sun position for best growth, but can also be placed in a lightly shaded spot. Tolerates dry periods once established, and does well in the heat. Cut back hard in autumn if needed to encourage fresh new growth. Good for coastal plantings and for poolside gardens.
