Gymea Lilies - Doryanthes excelsa. Everything about the Gymea lily (Doryanthes excelsa) is larger than life. The bold foliage can reach over four metres in height and some majestic flower stems can reach over ten metres tall.
Corymbia 'Wildfire' is a large shrub to small tree with large glossy dark green leaves with a light green reverse with reddish new foliage during the warmer months of the year. It is a tough, hardy tree, with an outstanding display of brilliant red large flowers in summer to autumn. It will grow to around 6 metres tall and 4 metres wide. Prefers a well drained soil in a sunny position, but will also grow in part shade. A good screen tree, specimen plant, and is also great for street planting. Birds love the nectar rich flowers.
