Plant description

Corymbia 'Summer Beauty' is a fabulous small tree, bearing beautiful clusters of bright pink to apricot coloured flowers through summer, with spot flowering at other times. They are the best flowers for bringing birds and parrots to the garden, and are followed by decorative gum nuts. It has large glossy dark green leaves with a light green reverse with reddish new foliage during the warmer months of the year. Grows to 5 metres tall, with a gently weeping habit.  Prefers a well drained soil in a sunny position. Feed with a good native fertiliser in spring to encourage better flowering. Water regularly while establishing, but tolerant of dry spells once established.
