Plant description

cosmos atrosanguineus chocolate cosmos choca mocha 1

Cosmos 'Choca Mocha' is a compact tuberous perennial plant with delightful dark chocolate coloured flowers that even smell like chocolate! Sadly we can't recommend tasting the flowers. It grows to around 30 cms high and wide, and likes a sunny place in the garden, and does well in containers. It will flower through the warm months of the year, and should be given a handful of slow release fertiliser to encourage healthy growth in spring. It has tubers like a dahlia, and will die down in cooler weather.
