Plant description

Crassula ovata 'Gollum' is a perennial succulent plant. It is a decorative plant that grows into a mini-tree, with interesting shaped leaves on a thick attractive trunk. It is an easy to grow succulent plant, and forms a naturally well shaped plant with little or no pruning. A great container plant, as well as an interesting garden addition. It can be used as an indoor plant in a well lit position, but will need resting outdoors in a shady spot from time to time. It is frost tender.

Crassula likes a well drained soil, in a sunny to part shaded position. Fertilise with a general purpose slow release fertiliser. Reduce watering in cooler weather.

Propagation is from leaf cuttings, and stem cuttings.
