Plant description

Crowea are dainty evergreen low shrubs with a naturally neat and rounded habit. They have aromatic foliage festooned with multi-hued pink star flowers sought by native bees and butterflies. Flowering is in autumn and winter, perfect times for brightening the garden with masses of pretty flowers. Use as a mounding groundcover in beds, cascading over banks or walls, or as a pot plant for balconies, courtyards and patios. A spot with some shade from the heat of the day suits them best, and dry conditions will shorten the life of the plant.
