Plant description

Dianella congesta 'Twisty' is a perennial Australian plant with curious twisted leaves and sprays of small blue flowers. It suits tropical, sub-tropical and temperate climates and full to partial shade areas. Good for coastal areas as it is salt tolerant, withstands frost down to -2 degrees. It grows to around half a metre tall and wide. Mulch well to deter weeds.
