Plant description

dianella forte 002

dianella forte flowers

Dianella Forte is an upright plant with narrow, arching foliage. Forte is an attractive narrow-leafed form of Dianella longifolia which is found in most regions of Australia and is therefore a very adaptable plant. Dianella Forte flowers in spring but its true worth is as a tough landscape plant.Try Forte in any low maintenance, waterwise setting, even if the soil isn't exactly ideal. It can be cut back to ground level if the plant gets untidy and will re-shoot from its underground rhizomes.
