Plant description

Didymochlaena trunculata is a lovely fern from moist rainforest gullies, with long fronds of glossy green, and pink new leaves. It forms a short thick trunk like a mini tree fern.  A nice fern for shady places and great indoors. Keep the soil moist, and feed with a half strength fertiliser through the warm months. Grows to around a metre high and wide.
