It has attractive, dark glossy foliage. It is a frost tender plant. It likes bright light to semi shade, but needs some protection from full sun. It is a great climber which can also be used for hanging baskets, trained into a small shrub shape or as a trailing plant over banks. It grows well as a container plant.
