Plant description

Euonymus japonicus 'Aureo Marginatus' is a reliable, tough, easy to grow, evergreen shrub. The leaves are scallop edged, glossy yllow with a broad green edging. The flowers are small and inconspicuous. It is a fast grower which can be used as a hedge or topiary plant, for screen planting, or as an accent shrub. It does well in large containers if fed and watered regularly.

Euonymus can handle a wide range of growing conditions, but do best on a fertile, moist, well drained soil. They are naturally dense growing and tidy plants if left unpruned, but they can be maintained at any desired height and shape with regular trimming. Mulching will keep weeds down and help to condition the soil. Frost and salt tolerant.

All parts of the plant are toxic if ingested.
