Plant description

Fraxinus pennsylvanica 'Cimmzan' Cimmaron is a trouble free and well shaped deciduous tree which works well as a shade tree for gardens, parks and for street planting. It grows to around thirteen metres tall and eight metres wide, with glossy green foliage which turns brilliant shades of red and burgundy in autumn. The bark is grey to brown and attractively furrowed. Prefers a well drained and moist soil in a sunny position, but once established is reasonably drought and frost tolerant. A good windbreak tree.
