Plant description

Gazania x 'Double Gold' is a ground covering perennial plant with brilliant double golden flowers for most of the year. It is fast growing, very low maintenance and adaptable to most soil types. The dense, matting habit once established will deter weed growth. The double flowers will not set seed, making this gazania a low weed hazard. As a bonus, 'Double Gold' flowers much more than single gazanias. Little aftercare is needed after the plants are established, as long as all perennial weeds are eradicated before planting. Fertilise with a handful of slow release fertiliser in spring.
