Gerbera 'Everlast Carmine' is a smaller version of the popular florist flower, and is great for growing in pots and the garden where it will flower beautifully all year round. It likes a sunny spot, and mulching will keep the soil cool. Feed regularly with liquid feed or slow release fertiliser for good performance, following the directions on the packet. To pick the flowers, twist from the base of the stem till the bloom comes away from the plant.
