Plant description

Hardenbergia 'Bushy Blue' is a smaller and shrubby form of what is normally a climbing species, and it grows to around half a metre tall and a metre wide. It is a dense growing plant with a great mounding habit. It has leaves with a lovely shade of blue grey, with masses of purple sprays of flowers in spring. The plant may be hedged or shaped as required. Mass plant in your garden to create a feature or low hedge. Also is a great container plant. Likes sun or part shade and a well drained soil. Feed with a good low phosphorus native fertiliser in spring.
