Plant description

Heliotrope 'Plum Pie' is a very fragrant sub-shrub with purple trusses of flowers and dark green foliage with a purple tinge. It grows to around a metre high. Good in temperate to sub tropical areas, likes a sunny position and does well in most soils.Prune lightly to encourage a more dense habit, and fertilise in spring and summer with a good general plant food. Plant near patios and paths to enjoy the delicious fragrance on warm afternoons. Good for container growing.
