Plant description

Hibiscus 'Aussie Delight' is a lovely and hardy native shrub, with lightly perfumed pale pink flowers for many months of the year. The leaves are glossy and thin, and it has beautiful red brown stems. It is very fast growing to around 2 metres tall, and a metre and a half wide. A good screen and informal hedge plant for most soil types, and does well in containers. Drought tolerant, and can take light frost, high temperatures and humidity. A good waterwise plant. The flowers are edible, and can be used for jams and drinks.
