Plant description

Hibiscus 'Tradewinds Cool Wind' is an evergreen shrub with profuse large pink flowers with a pink throat. A great plant to bring a touch of the tropics to the garden, with glossy gren foliage which highlights the flowers nicely. It can grow to around three to four metres tall, but can be pruned to size if required. When pruned regularly it becomes more dense, and it can be used for hedging and screening. Also good for container growing. A gross feeder, it needs regular fertiliser to look at its best, and does best with moist soil. Not frost tolerant, best for warm temperate, sub tropical to tropical climates. Can be attacked by hibiscus beetle.
