Plant description

Juniperus conferta, shore juniper, is a hardy, easy care, low growing shrub. This prostrate conifer will form a dense mat of foliage, which is prickly and a fresh green colour. A good ground covering plant, it is also a good for bonsai work.

Juniper does well on a wide range of soil types. It is frost and salt tolerant, and can take windy exposed conditions. Likes a sunny position. Mulch well when young to discourage weed growth.
