Plant description
Kalanchoe thyrsiflora is an interesting looking succulent perennial plant which forms a basal rosette of broad round leaves, which are grey-green with contrasting red margins. It flowers from spring to autumn, with pannicles of yellow flowers, but it is the foliage which is the feature of this plant. It is a drought tolerant and easy care plant but needs a well drained soil. It is tolerant of mild frost. It grows in a sunny to part shaded postion. It is performs well in containers, as well as being a good garden plant. It can be grown as an indoor plant in bright conditions.
Propagation is by division or leaf cuttings.
