Plant description
Lavender 'Aromatico' is a very fragrant shrub with silver grey foliage and spikes of violet blue flowers from spring through summer. Not only are the flowers rich in the unmistakable smell of lavender, so too is the foliage, which will be released by brushing against the plant. Performs well in containers where it can get the drainage that it needs, and is also good in sunny spots in the garden- build up the height of the planting area if needed to achieve good drainage. Grows to around half a metre high and wide, and needs full sun to be at its best. A handful of lime will be beneficial from time to time.
