Plant description

Lavender 'With Love' is a compact aromatic shrub with prolific pink spikes of flowers which are lavender scented. It flowers in late winter, and continues in flushes throughout the year. The flowers are held tightly just above the foliage. This is an Australian bred variety that is disease resistant. Place where the scent of the plant can be appreciated, near paths, entry ways, windows and courtyards. Potted plants can be brought inside for a week or two.

Lavender prefers a sunny position in a well drained soil. Prune after the main flowering to maintain a dense growth habit. They are dry tolerant once established. As well as being good for low hedging, they are great for container growing or as specimen plants. They are good for perfumed and sensory gardens.

The perfume of lavender is reputed to aid relaxation and sleep. It can be an allergen.
