Plant description

Leptospermum 'Starry Night' is a graceful pendulous shrub with soft, fine, dark purple foliage and purple-pink young stems. It has white flowers in spring which contrast beautifully with dark foliage.The flowers attract butterflies, and wrens and thornbills love to forage amongst the blossom. It may be planted as an eye-catching specimen in a paved courtyard, an informal screen against wall or fenceline, or as a medium-sized hedge. Likes a sunny to partly shaded spot. Can be pruned to encourage a more dense habit, or left to grow as a more open but very pretty plant. A great plant for creating foliage colour effects.
