Plant description

Lomandra hystrix, commonly called Slender Mat Rush, is a large, clumping, perennial plant with long arching lime green leaves. Hystrix is ideal for most garden aspects and will happily grow in moist boggy spots in the garden. Best suited to protected coastal aspects and frost free inland climates. Performs best in warmer climates with summer rainfall. It is an easy care plant that is rarely troubled by pests or disease.
