Plant description

A clumping grass-like perennial with attractive narrow bluish-green weeping foliage and masses of perfumed yellow flowers in spring. It resembles a native grass tree without the distinctive trunk. Great as a background or specimen plant, or for mass planting in the garden. Grows in sandy to clay soils, and full sun to shaded positions. An easy care plant, that is rarely troubled by pests or diseases. The flowers are edible, and the leaves are tough and fibrous, and can be used for weaving into baskets.
