Lomandra Montana 'Monty' is a tough perennial which performs well in shade, and flowers with cream spikes of bloom. It is a good native alternative to liriope, and will do well in heavy shade. It is a low growing, wide spreading plant that tolerates drought and frost. Does well in sandy soil, loam and clay. Is rarely troubled by pests or disease.
