Plant description

Melaleuca decussata 'Dwarf' is a hardy, low maintenance shrub with pretty arching branches. The lovely mauve purple bottlebrush flowers in spring are complemented by fine greyish stem clasping foliage. Attracts birds and nectar loving insects including butterflies. It makes a wonderful feature shrub, and it has aromatic foliage. Give it a light trim after it finishes flowering to encourage dense growth. Frost tolerant.
