Plant description

Melaleuca 'Ulladulla Beacon' is a dense, fast growing groundcover, carpeting or mounding shrub. Bright green foliage is highlighted in spring and summer with brilliant bird-attracting orange-red brushes. Plant as an undershrub, or to cascade down walls or steep slopes. Great for coastal gardens where it will provide protection for small plants just being established. Tolerant of some frost. Good for most soil types, cool to temperate to subtropical climates. Minimal pruning is needed to keep tidy and shapely. Feed with a good native fertiliser in warm months.
