Plant description

Melaleuca 'Little Red' is a wonderfully coloured shrub with bright red new growth on a dense and compact shrub. The new red leaves are produced in warm months. It bears white flowers through the year. A great foliage plant that has the form of a conifer but flowers as well. Great for landscaping work, and will tolerate wet and poor soils and periods of dryness. Grows to a metre wide and high, so can be grown as a low hedge. Good for subtropical to temperate climates.
