Plant description

Metrosideros 'Cream Ridge' is a very attractive variegated form of the popular New Zealand Christmas Bush. The green leaves have distinct broad cream margins, bringing a lightness to the landscape. It has contrasting red flowers in summer. It can be left to grow naturally into a loose shrub, or trimmed regularly for a hedge. It does well in sun, and can also be grown in part shade. A good waterwise plant, hardy and low maintenance once it has established. Frost tolerant and great for coastal gardens. Likes a well drained soil.
