Plant description
Nierembergia 'Blue Skies' is a easy to grow dense plant with beaut blue papery flowers from winter through to summer. A perennial, but can be used as a flowery annual for pots, baskets and for massed garden plantings. Likes a sunny spot in well drained but moist soil. Too much fertiliser will cause the buds to abort, so a half strength liquid fertiliser ocassionally is all that will be needed. A light prune will keep the plant shape more compact. No need to dead head old flowers as they shrivel and disappear.
