Plant description

Phormium 'Maori maiden' is an easy care clumping perennial with strappy leaves striped with dark pink and light pink. It is clump forming with upright and arching leaves and is great as a feature plant or for massed plantings. Dos well in most soil types, and is tolerant of most conditions. Very suitable for coastal gardens, and can take windy sites. Good for sun to part shade, low maintenance once established. Mulch well to keep the soil moist and cooler, and protect from frost. Fertilise in spring.
