Plant description

Phormium 'Chocomint Mist' is a low growing clumping perennial plant with colourful leaves of minty green and chocolate. It grows to around half a metre high and wide, and the foliage growth is very dense. It flowers well and they attract nectar loving birds. Good for massed plantings, as fill in plants and for containers.

'Chocomint' is suitable for cold to temperate areas. High humidity can lead to fungal problems. Plant in sunny to part shaded spots, in hot areas it is best to grow with some protection from full sun. Can withstand heavy frost and dry conditions.
