Plant description

Photinia 'Black Jack' is a brilliant hedging shrub with very dark red new growth on dark green older foliage. Growing to around four metres tall and wide if left alone, it responds well to pruning and can be trimmed to whatever height you like. It is frost hardy and tolerates frost well. Best in full sun. Fertilise in the warmer months with a good all purpose plant food, watering well after it is applied to avoid root burn. Mulch will help to cut down on weed growth and will keep the soil moist.
