Plant description

Plectranthus 'Blue Spires' is a fabulous plant, a low and compact herbaceous sub-shrub with aromatic green and white variegated foliage. Intense blue-lilac, perfumed flowers extend along leafy stems in spires 30-60cm long and attract butterflies and native bees. a great low maintenance and hardy plant, good for both sun and shade. The white edged foliage brightens shady places. Use as a border and mixed amongst other cottage garden plants. Beautiful in container or hanging basket. Rrely troubled by pests or diseases, and is a good waterwise plant. Feed with a good general purpose fertiliser in the warm months.
