Plant description

Polypodium formosanum, or grub fern, is a large leafed fern native to China and Japan. An easy to grow plant for part shade, full shade and also for indoors and shady patios. Likes to be grown snug in its pot, and kept moist. Will have periods of dormancy, with yellowing leaves. Pull off any discoloured leaves to tidy the plant. Feed with a half strength fertiliser in the warm months.
