Ptilotus 'Joey' is a herbaceous perennial with dark green leaves and unsual and beautiful mauve feathery flower heads in spring. It is native to dry areas of Australia, so can tend to be short lived in more humid climates. Good for sunny rockeries and borders or in a decorative pot. Plant in a well drained soil, fertilise with a good native plant food.
