Plant description
Pyrus salicifolia 'Pendula' is a deciduous small tree with atttractive silvery grey foliage and a pendulous habit. It grows to around four to eight metres tall and wide. Makes a great screening tree, with its dense and rounded growth habit. Flowers in spring, and they are fragrant. It bears brown-green fruit in summer, which is not edible. A very adaptable tree for most soils, prefers good drainage. Best in full sun.
