Plant description

Raphiolepis 'Oriental Pearl' is a tough and hardy low shrub that is a useful landscaping plant. It has a dense, compact growth habit, even without pruning. It has attractive dark green, glossy foliage that resists salt spray and fungal attacks, making it a good plant to use in seaside or poolside plantings. It has masses of white flowers from autumn through to spring.

This plant has few pests and diseases and is a very easy care plant. It grows in either full sun or part shade, and is not fussy about soils.

Raphiolepis 'Oriental Pearl' sets very few seeds, a valuable trait which reduces the weed potential of this particular plant.
