Plant description

Rosmarinus 'Irene' is a trailing, grouncover woody perennial shrub with aromatic foliage and mauve-blue flowers. This useful culinary herb is also a useful landscaping plant, as it will cascade over walls and banks, and makes a good dense grouncover. It can be container grown. It flowers in spring and summer.

Rosemary is a very easy care plant that likes a well drained soil in a sunny position. It is drought tolerant once established. It can be pruned hard to shape. It will grow in poor soils. It is rarely troubled by pests or diseases, and tolerates hot conditions.
