Plant description

solenostemon scutellarioides coleus bordeaux 1

'Bordeaux' is a lovely variety of the ever popular coleus plant. It has beautifully coloured leaves of red, green and burgundy with a heavily lobed and ruffled shape like a spectacular coral. Perennial in warm climates from warm temperate to tropical, it can be used as an annual bedding plant in cooler areas. A great pot performer as well for patios and courtyards and to bring inside for a great colour splash. The foliage can also be used for cut flower bunches. Dryness will lead to leaf drop, best performance is with regular watering and feeding through the warm months. Does well in sunny to partly shaded spots, best leaf colour will be with some shade.
