Plant description

Sowerbaea 'Wonder Grass' is a lovely perennial native grass-like lily. It flowers for a couple of months with clusters of starry mauve blooms at the end of winter. Performs best in pots and well drained garden beds in a sunny to very lightly shaded spot in a snady open soil or potting mix. A handful of slow release fertiliser once a year is all the care it will need, and it is rarely troubled by pests. Too much water can cause root rot and the loss of the plant. Does well in cool temperate to sub tropical climates. A good waterwise plant.
